Ephesus

The blog is getting a little out of order, but that is ok. On Thursday we went to Ephesus, the ruins of an ancient Greek and then Roman city.

Ephesus has some of the best preserved remains of an ancient city in the world,in fact Ephesus contains the largest collection of Roman ruins in the eastern Mediterranean. Folks say it is second only to Pompeii.
We had a great time exploring Ephesus, but we have to admit, we were most charmed by the pile of puppies sleeping by the gate. There is just something about puppies in a pile that is too cute. Also, the puppies were alive and moving, which was in great contrast to the ruins of an ancient now dead town.
