Salzburg Part I

Can you find the Bedbins?

Ahh, the home of Sound of Music. The home of Mozart. Really what else is there to need in life? Well, in winter there is also an abundance of places to buy more, you guessed it, Gluh Wein (hot wine) and sausages and warm up. There is also an abundance of lights.

Salzburg is magical. We spent our days visiting fantastic baroque churches, wandering down small stone pedestrian streets and exploring the castle on the hill. At this point I should say something about the cold. It was cold. On top of that hill with the castle, even colder. It was cold enough we hoped it would snow so things would warm up. The cold makes for good pictures however.

It was so cold they dress their horses in Gore-tex

One night we went to Augustiner Keller, a giant beer hall in a monastery.

We had such fun drinking out of liter beer mugs we brought Mom and Roger the next night.
