For Ian, who loves Gibbons

We had some quality Gibbon time while visiting "Monkey Land" (more on that later) in the Crags a few days ago. My brother, Ian, loves gibbons. I think he did his animal report in kindergarten (or maybe first grade) on gibbons, and has been attached ever since.

So, in honor of Ian, some Gibbon videos. (Ahem, if my excellent Flip Video software worked on my netbook, I would have edited these to be one Gibbon experience, alas, that will have to wait until I return home to a normal computer)

NOTE: if you are not interested in Gibbons (snuggly, swing-y Gibbons) then these videos will be deadly boring.

1. Gibbon walking. I was filming this gibbon for my brother, when he came walking right at me and I had to scramble out of the way.

2. If you watch only one gibbon video this blog post, it should be this one. Gibbons look cool when they swing

3. A gibbon sitting. This is only interesting if you are interested in the sitting behavior of Gibbons. Or, if you think they are cute and cuddly. Then it is good too.
