Visiting a community that makes rice paper was lovely, easy and fun compared to the fish paste area. I realized I eat a fair amount of rice paper, all those spring rolls and all, and I found the process fascinating. Here are a few pictures to give you an idea.
They burn rice husks for fuel, it makes a constant low heat
