Vietnam so far

Andrew is really excited about this place and, what a surprise, its food. He keeps pointing out all the Pho and bun shops. And while I am excited about eating dinner later, these first 3 major impressions have me concerned:

1. The men checking our passport who were in uniform and inside a government building were smoking, this is not a good omen for clean air in the future

2. the taxi cheated us on our fare to the hotel

3. You can't get facebook here

That isn't a great start
